The restaurant features a large selection of indulgent, made-to-order hot grilled subs and fresh giant deli subs that are complemented by award -winning, made-to-order, hot - crispy fries. Esayas Mekonnen, owner of the new Jon Smith Subs in Columbus, was born and raised in Ethiopia with dreams of one day owning a business. He moved to the area and pursued a degree from the Ohio State University to further his education and sharpen his entrepreneurial skills. Mekonnen’s industry expertise, which he acquired from working at his parents’ business, combined with a competitive mindset, fuels his drive to make this Jon Smith Subs one of the most successful restaurants in the Columbus-area.

The fan-favorite Steak Bomb comes with a heaping portion of marinated sirloin steak, grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes, and provolone cheese. The popular deli-subs feature Italian Cold Cuts, Genoa salami, pepperoni, capicola and provolone, the perfect satisfying option.

Locally loved sandwiches, such as Mekonnen’s favorite - The Reuben - and other specialties like Hot Pastrami and Cajun Chicken offer something for everyone.
